Reaching the end of school year

As we are approaching lebaran and nearing to the end of school year, minor changes has occured in our beloved school there will also be significant new changes in the future. With a new hope for entering endemic, we should allow ourselves to be grateful,hopeful and remain optimistic for what the future may holds.

Pandemic has changed the course of life of human kind, new challenges had to be faced, but staying and creating positive things define how we all come out of this situation.

PTA 2022-2023 began its journey in september 2022, where all of us as a team can only work and meet online, many of us don't really know each other, but because of the "good intention" and professionalism from all the moms in the PTA commitee, our programs came true!

Ranges of inspiring IG Lives episodes with our external communication team which raises important issues about the school, student's well being and mental health issues.

Continuing in the end of 2021, we had our first ever big collaboration with the school and alumni "Global Comnect Week", a week of sharing and connecting through ranges of webinars and IG Lives, featuring important speakers and presenters, and guests of honors, Bapak Nadiem Makarim (Minister of Technology and Education) and Bapak Erick Thohir (Minister of BUMN). This event was successfully done attracting not only GJS COMMUNITY but also wider community. I would say, it had become quite a talk of the town.

In early 2022, PTA launched its first online marketplace "PTA MARKETPLACE", the place that unite GJS community to buy,promote and sell services/products. Run by our social section team. Our 2nd edition of PTA Marketplace has made quite good sales and attracting new customer leads for our vendors.

As we enter Ramadhan month, our Social & Religious activity section, led by Bunga Anggoro our Vice Head of PTA, organised Ramadhan Donation and Alhamdulillah, we manage to gather Rp 185.000.000 and was distributed to total 100 people including security,gardeners,cleaners. Therefore,from the bottom of our hearts we would like to thank all the parents for your contribution. May God blesses all of you.

Lastly, TSAN (Teachers Staffs Appreciation Night), PTA's yearly event is coming very soon in early June.

We are planning to keep it low key yet elegant ,because we are still in pandemic. This event will be a "tribute" to all the teachers of Global Jaya School who have dedicated their life to be the best teacher for our children. We hope to create something beautiful and inspiring event and as for the departing teachers we wish to left them with a memorable token of appreciation to help them continue with their journey.
