Our subscription resources are to find full-text articles, books, journals, and other items of information. All of the resources can be used off-campus, and from anywhere with an internet connection.

BrainPOP is a learning resource and a group of educational websites with over 1.000 short animated movies, engaging in learning games, and activities for students in grades Kindergarten - Year 12 students, together with quizzes and related materials. BrainPop materials explain a wide variety of concepts in science, social studies, English, math, engineering, technology, health, arts, and music. JSTOR is a digital library that provides access to the full text of more than 12 million journal articles, ebooks from academic publishers, images, and primary sources in 75 disciplines in the humanities, sciences, social sciences, and mathematics. JSTOR helps everyone to discover, share, connect valuable ideas, and explore a wide range of scholarly content through a powerful research and teaching platform. PebbleGo is a curricular content hub specifically designed for Kindergarten - Year 3 students and it’s like a primary level encyclopedia. PebbleGo provides informational articles, ready-made activities, and literacy support for students of all abilities. The main modules are about animals, science, biographies, social studies, health, and are divided into topics and subtopics. PebbleGo is easily accessible and has student-friendly navigation. WebPath Express is a credible, and fun educational search tool for Kindergarten - Year 12 students. WebPath Express integrates more than 105,000 trustworthy, relevant websites that are integrated alongside GJS Library catalogue while filtering out questionable and irrelevant content. WebPath Express provides easy-to-use search, browse, and narrowing capabilities, including visual search icons.
To access the online resources, you can access our library’s online catalogue or directly to the database website.
Click “GJS Library Resource Centre” on the middle top of the page. Then, you may see in the bottom left corner list of “online databases”.
