MORNING REHEARSAL

8:25am - Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, & Orchestra Students to Band Room

8:30am - Move equipment and set-up in Stadium

9:00am - Rehearsal Begins with Grads

10:00am - Continue rehearsal with full ensemble.

11:00am - Rehearsal Ends, students go back to School

EVENING ACTIVITIES

5:45pm - Students arrive at HS, in uniform, and wait in the Cafe.

6:00pm - Rehearse Star Spangled Banner, regimental honor, The commencement suite

6:15pm - Walk to Stadium

6:30pm - Seated in Stadium

7:00pm - Commencement Ceremony Starts

9:00pm - End of Commencement

*** Move Equipment Back to Band Room

9:15pm - Turn in uniforms / Equipment

UNIFORMS

Performance uniform is STANDARD UNIFORM. (Seniors where cap and gown.) We will be collecting all-day band uniforms AFTER the last ceremony. Please bring a change of clothes with you to this event. After the performance, students will change into their own clothes, and the boosters will be collecting any uniforms that are still loaned out. (Symphonic band vests, Wind Ensemble Dresses, Wind Ensemble tuxes, etc.)

SENIOR BAND STUDENTS

All seniors that are playing with the band will sit with the band throughout the ceremony. When it comes time to walk onto the stage, all seniors will line up to walk across the stage at one time. After receiving their diplomas, seniors will come back and sit with the band.

All seniors that are playing with the band at graduation need to participate in May 30th morning rehearsal. Rehearsal will start at 9 am and go until approximately 11 am. Seniors just meet the band in the stadium, you DO NOT HAVE TO GO TO THE GYM with the other seniors. 

Seniors will need to return any school-owned instruments and Wind Ensemble folders at this time. Following the graduation performance, seniors should bring these items to the band room. Instruments and music folders need to be checked by a director.
