The Advanced Orchestra is intended to offer a high level of musical challenge, and is for serious string players in grades 9-12. The class meets every day, and an intermediate/advanced level of music is selected during the year.  Students will focus on developing advanced techniques of string instrument performance and advanced music theory. Several performances are required and will be listed in the orchestra handbook. Members of the class are also expected to purchase their own tuner to use during class.
