MATE ROV
The MATE ROV Competition is an underwater robotics (aka remotely operated vehicle or ROV) challenge that engages a global community of learners each year. This activity provides the students with time and the resources to create an entry ROV.
WeChat Innovation Program
Completed: Weixin is inviting UWCSEA students in grades 1 - 12 to participate in their ongoing App Design Challenge. Have you had an App idea and just need to get it noticed?
First Lego League Competition
Following months of intense preparation, students presented their robots and were ready to compete. Four teams proudly represented UWCSEA East.
Micro FRC
We are very happy to be able to offer anyone interested in FRC (FIRST Robotics) an opportunity to get involved at an entry-level. Take part in the Micro FRC Challenge and prove your skills.
SuperSmash Friendly
UWCSEA Dover and East students collaborated for the inaugural eSports showdown. Participants from high school and middle school faced off in a riveting Super Smash Ultimate competition!
Sumo Robotics League
Exciting News! The upcoming SUMO Bot League, a student-designed robotics opportunity designed for both East and Dover MS and HS students.
WeChat Workshop
Over 20 students participated in the WeChat workshop, immersing themselves in the WeChat ecosystem while gaining insights into coding through the Weixin Mini Program.
Pedal Kart GP
Students from K-12 are invited to take part in the Pedal Kart Grand Prix that will take place on Dover campus on June 1st 2024
WorkWonder
Our National Commitee students met with the Bayha Group to share their ideas in forming their own, personalised WorkWonder programme.
UWCSEA Robotics Hackathon
Students from Primary and Middle School took part in a friendly competition between UWCSEA East and SAIS, UWCSEA Dover and French International.
DAIGON - eSports

CASE - Space School
The CASE Space School International Study Program provides students with the opportunity to get ahead, learn and apply transferable skills in one of the world’s most profound and inspiring STEAM environments, NASA. The CASE Space School expedition is a life-changing experience that inspires a new generation of STEAM-skilled leaders.
Bernina
Students are using the Bernina 5 Series with Embroidery module to look at engineering wearables that utilise The James Dyson Foundation's Air Quality Monitoring technology.
FIRST Lego League
Sign up for the FIRST Lego League and task you and your team with creating a robot that can grab as many points on the playing field as possible. This activity will give you the time and resources from which to build and code the competing robot, a 3-season commitment is needed as you will be asked to attend the regional finals in March.
eSports
Join the eSports club for both MS and HS students. Don't worry, the PS eSports activity will commence in Season 2.
Students will learn how to play and skill up in Super Smash and MarioKart through collaboration. A perfect place to develop those essential skills by playing with others in the same room.
GoKart Activities
Join the Gokart club for both PS (Young Engineers)and MS students. This activity will enable students to design create and actually ride their inventions! Using iDocyke technology, engineering can be quick and fun.
R&D Club
Every Wednesday in the Community Lab, students can use the space, experts and time to develop their ideas and projects. The activity is usually reserved for those who are entering competitions and challenges, however, those students who are looking to kickstart their products, systems or service ideas are always welcome.

Stand-In-Ovation
Stand-in-Ovation was a design and make, music challenge open to all students at UWCSEA East from Grade 4 up to Grade 12.
The brief was simple: Design and fabricate a playable musical instrument.

Project Bin

TCS Sustainathon
Priority Theme: “Innovation and technological change, and education in the digital age for achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls”.

IDE Series
IDE (Innovation, Design and Engineering) Series is a national technology and engineering competition event. The aim of the competition is to challenge students on problem-solving across domains such as electronics, programming, and mechanical design.
Mario Kart FUSE Cup

AWS Deep Racer
Amazon Web Services DeepRacers use Reinforcement Learning (RL), enter the UWCSEA AWS DeepRacer League and develop your understanding of Machine Learning.
Mario Kart FUSE Cup
The FUSE Cup is open to all students from grades 5 to 10, requires teams of 4 to enter and costs S$250 per team. The school can only send 2 teams.
James Dyson
Exclusive Prototype Workshop with James Dyson Foundation
The James Dyson Foundation ran a 2hr prototyping workshop for High School students.
LEGO Outreach Sign Up Open
The Google-sponsored Lego Outreach Programme gives MS students the opportunity to work with kindergartners.
