PARENTS FOR SSEP
Unleash your potential!
A foundation challenge for FRC.
The MicroFRC 9: Charged up challenge revolves around two alliances comprising three teams each, vying to energize their community. In this themed challenge, robots navigate through substations, collecting cones and cubes to score on the grid while aiming to balance on the charge station.
Overview
The start of every match initiates a 15-second autonomous period. During this phase, alliance robots operate only on pre-programmed instructions to score points by:
• Exiting their community
• Retrieving and scoring game pieces onto the grid
• Docking on or engaging with their charge station
Following this, in the final 135 seconds, the teleoperated period begins. Drivers can now take control of the robots. They continue scoring points by:
• Continue to retrieve and scoring game pieces onto the grid
• Docking on or engaging with their charge station
Human Player Rules

• Human players may place game pieces on the single substation ramp to drop onto the field
• Human players MAY NOT place game pieces in or on robots directly
