Our Vision
Fulham Cross Sixth Form envisions a dynamic learning community where ambition, innovation, and excellence shape every student’s future. By offering a rich blend of academic and vocational pathways, we empower young people to grow as confident, skilled, and compassionate individuals. Our Sixth Form aspires to be a centre of opportunity and aspiration, preparing students to thrive at university, in employment and as active global citizens in an ever-changing world.
Our Mission
Fulham Cross Sixth Form is dedicated to providing an academically rigorous yet supportive environment that fosters independence, resilience and lifelong learning. Through inspiring teaching, personalised guidance and strong partnerships with universities, employers and the wider community, we equip every learner with the knowledge, skills and values they need to excel beyond the classroom. Our mission is to ensure that every student leaves us ready to succeed, contribute and lead in the next stage of their journey.
The Three Pillars at FCSF
Life in our Sixth Form is built on three core pillars that guide both teaching and learning:
Mastery & Excellence – Our teachers bring deep subject expertise and clarity of instruction, setting the highest standards in the classroom. In turn, students are expected to engage actively, aim high and produce work that reflects true academic excellence.
Independence & Growth – Teachers provide the tools, scaffolds and encouragement for students to take ownership of their learning. Students grow in confidence and resilience through active participation, independent practice, community involvement and an extensive range of enrichment opportunities, developing the habits of highly-motivated, self-directed learners.
Future-Readiness & Aspiration – Teachers and support staff act as mentors, linking learning to higher education and career pathways, while providing actionable feedback and guidance. Students are supported to set ambitious goals, practise real-world skills, and leave Sixth Form fully prepared for university, apprenticeships or employment.
Together, these pillars create a culture where staff and students work in partnership, combining high expectations, academic rigour and personal growth to ensure every learner is equipped for success beyond Sixth Form.
