EQUALITIES OBJECTIVES
As part of our commitment to ensuring equality for all, and in line with our Equalities Policy, we have chosen to focus on the following Equality Objectives as part of our continuous drive for school improvement.
Equality Target - Outcomes
Ensure outcomes for students in receipt of Pupil Premium Funding are positive in terms of progress
Ensure SEND student outcomes are are positive in terms of progress
In addition, we will analyse student outcomes by ethnicity to ascertain any significant data.
Equality Target - Behaviour and Safety
Ensure attendance for students in receipt of Pupil Premium Funding is broadly in line with that of non-Pupil Premium students at 90% as a minimum.
To support the mental health of students so that they are happy, safe and able to thrive.
High expectations in behaviour are reflected across pupil groups equally.
Equality Target - Culture and Ethos
Staff to deliver enrichment sessions to support diversity & equality where all groups of students are included
STEAM enrichment afternoons are planned so that all students’ varying needs, characteristics and abilities are supported
Staff to support the development of students living the FCA Way to show exemplary character through the STEAM charter in and out of class
Equality Target - Diversity, Equality and Inclusion
All leaders are aware of the diversity, equality and inclusion targets and are positively engaged when coaching/discussing these targets with other staff members
As part of the governance training, all governors are trained on diversity, equality and inclusion issues, including those related to exclusions.
The 7 Year Curriculum reflects the full diversity of students at Fulham Cross Academy (paying particular attention to student in our Q4 unit)
