IN YEAR ADMISSIONS

Fulham Cross Academy welcomes students from all over the globe who reside within our local community. We admit new students throughout the academic year when we have the capacity to do so. We wish for families to see us as a compassionate local school trying to support our learners to the best of our ability to be academically successful as well as well-rounded individuals.

We are happy to support and facilitate students in joining our school, where we have availability. The space that we have is dependent upon the year group that the student needs to join. It is important to note that our current Years 10 & 11 are male-only year groups as they are part of our legacy student cohort who will move through as single-sex year groups. Our current Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9 cohort are mixed year groups and we will be continuing to accept applications from male and female students to these year groups and every other subsequent year group that joins the school from September 2022 onwards.

Students who wish to join Fulham Cross Academy may do so by applying to the Hammersmith and Fulham Admissions Team who can be contacted from 9 am – 1 pm, Monday to Friday on 020 8753 1085 or email your inquiry to school.admissions@lbhf.gov.uk

Our admissions criteria can be found on our Fulham Cross Academy Trust Admission Policy, which can be found in our Policy information on our website under the ‘Information’ tab.

Students who start mid-academic year are supported in their induction to the school in the same way that they would be if they joined us in Year 7. A comprehensive induction process is in place to make new students feel at home, understand the systems of the school, navigate the school and most of all assist them in making new friends through our buddying system. We also like to work in tandem with families to ensure that we are aware of any issues before they become significant problems.

We pride ourselves on being a friendly and inclusive Trust, so please do feel free to make an application to the local authority, as outlined above, and follow it up with us to ensure that it has been seen and processed as appropriate.

We look forward to hearing from you!
