If your FISD Chromebook needs repair or you have a damaged FISD charging cord, please submit a Device Repair Ticket in the Student Portal.
If your FISD Chromebook or charger is lost, contact Gwen Serna, LTHS Chromebook Clerk sernag@friscoisd.org
If you do not yet have an FISD Chromebook but would like one issued to you, please visit Click Here CB's for CLASS. Once you have completed all steps you may come see Ms. Serna in the library when we return in January to pick up your device.
Please check the FISD website for other self-help information on Chromebooks. Click Here for Technology
If you have lost your charging cord for your Dell 3100 Touchscreen Chromebook, you may replace it either through Frisco ISD ($35.99) or from an outside vendor.
Touchscreen Chromebooks require a 65W type C charger. Example linked here: https://bit.ly/3yoIag2 .
Damage to cords purchased from an outside vendor is not covered under the accidental damage plan.
To purchase through FISD, email Ms. Serna sernag@friscoisd.org. The cost is $35.99, but any damage to a cord purchased this way would be covered under the accidental damage plan that you pay for each year as part of the one for all program.
Please note- the 65-watt type C Charger is only compatible with the touchscreen Dell 3100s; please do not use this with any other model as this could cause damage.
Parents and Students: A VOE request for the purposes of driver’s permits and licenses must be initiated by the student in the Student Portal: Click Here for VOE Link. If a VOE is no longer valid, the student just needs to request one again and enter the current date on it. The VOE will be sent to the FISD student email and primary student contact. Direct eMail requests will not be supported over break. This request can be completed except on these maintenance days: December 20th, 21st, 22nd.
All FISD students classified as 11th grade are automatically registered to take the official SAT during the school day on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. There is no exam fee and students do not register for this exam through College Board. Students will receive an email the week prior to the SAT on March 2 with exam specific details. There is no make-up date for this exam. How to Prepare:
Mark your calendars now for the LTHS Fine Arts Production of the Wizard of Oz, January 20-22.
The FISD Dual Credit team will host an informational webinar on Wednesday, January 12th from 6-7 PM. The team will explain dual credit and will share about the various dual credit options available to our FISD high school students. Webinar registration is available through the link in this flyer.
What is my 2nd Semester Schedule?

PTSA/STUCO CLOTHING DRIVE
PTSA and StuCo are hosting a clothing drive from Feb. 14-17 to support Frisco Threads, a new FISD student clothes closet serving students every week. So far we have given clothing to approximately 250 students and we have many more waiting. As you can imagine, it takes a lot of donations and support from our community to make this happen. This holiday season is a good time to go through closets and spring clean! We are looking for gently used clothes, hangers, shoes, etc. More info about how to donate will follow in the New Year! We appreciate all the support.
With your membership of $10 per year, our Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) serves the LT community with many events and activities. Examples are parent education programs, high school academic guidance programs, arts and healthy lifestyles programs, Special and Gifted Education (SAGE) programs, senior events, staff appreciation, scholarships and grants, parent and student PTSA Executive Board member opportunities, and more. To support our PTSA and our LT community for just $10, Click Here or call 1-800-TalkPTA.
