Paella Day
In December 2017, we celebrated our monthly cultural assembly. Our 4th grade was responsible for planning the presentation and country of focus was Spain. On that day, we received a special visit from the Spanish Educational Adviser, Inmaculada Naranjo. Two of our teachers from Spain cooked paella for our guest and the entire Maxwell staff. This was a great opportunity for our students and families to learn how a Spanish tradition dish like Paella is prepared.
