On November 1, the “Night of the Angels”, the Living Arts & Science Center presented the annual Day of the Dead Festival with a celebration at The Living Arts & Science Center, as well as at the Old Episcopal Burying Ground. This festival is a true community event that brings together individuals, groups, students, and teachers from the Latino and non-Latino communities.

Maxwell Elementary participates in this Festival every year, bringing students to perform, and to teach other students from other schools art techniques learned at Maxwell. The Maxwell students also display altars they create in our classrooms.
