Directions
In your journal you will respond to these questions after watching a ted talk of your choice. After, you will be grouped by the TED talk you select and your group will workshop ideas for a project inspired by the TED talk and your discussion with your peers. The key here is that you have to take with the artist said and make it YOUR OWN. Make it make sense for you and your vision/ life experience/ art.Â

How did the TED talk inspire or challenge your perspective on art and creativity?
Identify the key concepts or ideas discussed in the TED talk and explain how they relate to your own artistic practice.

ART MAKING PROCESS (Complete after Group Discussion)
Create a mindmap in your Journal of key themes that came up in your written responses and in your group discussion. (See here for inspiration on more creative ways to mindmap)
Create a Pinterest board of at least 20 images that capture the style you are drawn to for this project
Create a storyboard in your Journal of the 5 photographs OR 2 digital art images that you will create for this project. Under each storyboard make a list of specific equipment you will need (for digital art a list of specific techniques or photographs you will need to create your piece)
Create your photographs on campus or at home. Class time should be used for shooting, editing, or compositing in Photoshop. Upload all 5 (0r 2 Digital Art) to your website and include a 300 character statement for each photo (see below)

Process: How did you take the photo, how did you edit the photo, etc) (100 characters)
Ideas: What motivated you to take photos of this subject/ edit the photo in this way? (100 Characters)
