ORIGAMI SHADOW
For this project, you will be very "hands-on!" Your goal is to create one (or more) origami animal and photograph it using a minimalist background of solid coloured paper.
Please submit at least three (3) final .jpg images. Considerations should include:
Most common light used for this is actually just a phone light. It is easily controllable and offers hard, defined shadows.
Can use studio lights, or flash .
Shoot RAW, then edit images for optimal composition, colour pop, etc.
In editing, take the time to remove wrinkles or other imperfections from the background paper
One image can be in black & white if you choose.
Remember the Inverse Square Law...background light will "fall off" more if the light source is close to the subject.
