Each year we have the opportunity to send one student from our school to compete in an online qualifying contest for a chance to compete in the Skills Alberta competition.
Advanced students who are interested in this opportunity should read the links below and let Mr. Burns know ASAP that you wish to participate. All interested students will complete the qualifying task, have their work judged by a panel of teachers here at Wagner, and the winning student will be entered into the qualifying contest.

TIMELINE / DEADLINES
1) Let Mr. Burns know you want to enter the qualifying contest - NOW!
2) Create and submit your project (based on the Qualifying Contest requirements) - MARCH 6 (Wednesday)
3) The winning entry from W. P. Wagner is registered for the Qualifying Contest - MARCH 13
4) Entries from around the province are judged by the provincial judging committee - MARCH 28
5) Teachers are notified by Skills Alberta if their student has made it through to the Provincial Competition - APRIL 5
6) Provincial Competition (for those who are accepted) - MAY 5-7 at Northlands Expo Centre
