PROJECT: TEXT PORTRAIT
Your assignment is to create a text portrait (in the style of the example shown above) using Photoshop / Photopea.
Here's what you do:
Take a selfie of yourself. Look right at the camera (face straight ahead) and try to be positioned up against a blank wall.
Choose an inspirational or motivational quote that you want to overlay on your selfie. It doesn't have to be long, but if it is a bit longer you'll just need to make the text smaller.
Follow the tutorial video below.
When finished:
Save your project as a .psd file (that's for you).
Save/export your project as a .jpg file.
In Classroom, open this assignment and select Add > File. Upload the final .jpg image. Don't forget to complete the rubric!
CHROMEBOOK USERS: Please note that Chromebooks don't have a DELETE key. You can instead use ALT+BACKSPACE and it serves the same function.
This particular video shows the steps in Photopea but they are virtually identical in Photoshop.
