4) PROJECT: ELEMENTS AND PRINCIPLES OF DESIGN SCAVENGER HUNT (Part 2)
1) LESSON: ELEMENTS OF DESIGN
2) PROJECT: Elements of Design Slides Presentation (starting)
You are to create a Google Slides presentation that demonstrates your understanding of the eight Elements of Design (and later the eight Principles of Design)
For each Element, you must provide three photo examples. Make one slide per Element and stick all three images on that page.
TIPS:
- Please include only photographs (since we're in a photo class and all), not line drawings or other artworks
- To help search, I recommend you use Google Image search keywords like "elements of design line photography" if you're searching for "line", for example. This makes your search much more useful.
- The first eight slides cover the Elements of Design. Then, move on to the second lesson and you'll add eight more slides before handing in.
TO HAND IN:
* DON'T * hand this in yet! You're going to add to this project next class.
3) LESSON: PRINCIPLES OF DESIGN
4) PROJECT: Elements and Principles of Design Slides Presentation
You will continue your previous project.
- Ensure the title of your slides presentation (and title page) is Elements and Principles of Design
- Add eight additional slides, each demonstrating one of the principles of design.
TO HAND IN:
1) Title your presentation (including your name) if you haven't already
2) Be sure you know where the presentation is located within your Google Drive. If it's not already there, you should move it to your PHOTO 10 > COM1005 Visual Composition Drive folder. Remember, you need to have SHARED that folder with jamie.burns@epsb.ca (we did this on the first day of class) or else your project won't be visible.
3) In Classroom, open this project, click on the attached rubric (Google Sheet) and complete it.
4) With the assignment still open in Classroom, click ADD, select Google Drive Item, choose your Slides presentation, then click TURN IN.
You're done now!
