WORKPLACE SEARCHES:
To safeguard the property and interests of our students, employees, and patrons, to help prevent the possession, sale, and use of illegal drugs on school grounds, and in keeping with the spirit and intent of the district’s drug-free workplace policy and other policies, the school district reserves the right to question employees and all other persons entering and leaving our premises, and to inspect any packages, parcels, purses, handbags, briefcases, lunch boxes, or any other possessions or articles carried to and from school when it has reasonable grounds to do so. The school also reserves the right to search any employee's office, desk, files, locker, or any other school owned property on school grounds. Inspections may be conducted at any time at the discretion of the administration. Employees who refuse to cooperate with this provision will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including discharge.
