The English Modern School is a proud member of the Qatar Private Primary School Sports Association (QPPSSA). This organization is dedicated to designing, implementing, and promoting high-quality sports events and activities through a structured inter-school program. By being part of QPPSSA, our students have the opportunity to compete, develop their skills, and represent our school in a supportive and competitive environment.

About QPPSSA

QPPSSA brings together private primary schools across Qatar to participate in a variety of sporting competitions throughout the academic year. The association ensures that all events are organized with fairness, safety, and student development at the center.

• Encourage pupils to perform to the best of their ability.

Indoor Athletics

What an incredible day hosting the QPPSSA Indoor Athletics Tournaments with 11 schools taking part!  The atmosphere was electric, with amazing support from parents and fantastic leadership from our seniors who helped make the event run smoothly .

Our EMS teams shone brightly with some brilliant results:

Year 6 – 2nd Place
Year 5 – 1st Place
Year 4 – 3rd Place
Year 3 – 4th Place

Football

Congratulations to our Year 4 Boys Football Team for their strong performance in the QPPSSA Football Tournament! The boys showed excellent teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship, representing our school with pride.

We would also like to recognise our Year 3, 5, and 6 Boys and our Year 4, 5, and 6 Girls, who participated with great effort and enthusiasm. Although these teams did not progress to the next round, they demonstrated commitment, resilience, and a positive spirit throughout the competition.
