We created our own Collaborative Art. Each child  in our class had a hand in drawing or colouring a section of the artwork. We learnt concepts of line, colour, shape, space and what it means to collaborate with another artist which embraces JedariArt concepts and  communciation through our art.

We created three different Abstract paintings! We used three different mediums to create three different styles of Abstract Art, exploring positive and negative space , colour composition and patterns. We were allowed to express ourselves through our creations!

We mosaiced our first landscape! We learnt what a mosaic is, how they are created and all about space in a landscape.

We learnt Pottery and Sculpting skills using Modeling Clay! We learnt how to make coilds and shaping them into a small pot. We made a  ball, and using the pinching techniques, we shaped it into a small pinch pot. We used tolls and our hands to shape and sculpt a characterized face.

We drew a Still Life! We drew the shape and design of the plant in front of us, paying attention to the shape of the leaves, petals or bristles on each plant. We then applied impressionism to our drawing using chalk pieces, taking inspiration from an artist called Vincent van Gogh.

We designed our own plates! We created a Mandala design using our pencils and rulers. We then used two different sized tools to dot art the pattern and create a continous pattern across the plate.

We made Masks! We learnt to use stencils to trace out our shape, we learnt how to cut carefully on the lines and layer felt and cardboard to make our animal mask. We stuck it all together and created shapes out of our felt to add extra details to our animal mask.

We Doodled! We learnt about texture and how to create six different examples. We applied this to different Doodle Monsters that we created. We used references to create expressions and features for our Monsters and Animal characters.
