The AIM Department

Learning Support in EMS Doha

Working in partnership with teachers, students and parents, the AIM Department supports learners to reach their full potential.

The primary goal of the AIM department is to support learners through differentiation of instruction, curriculum and assessment. We recognise that learners come from a range of cultural backgrounds and may have varying levels of English language proficiency.

At EMS, we provide encouragement and 21st century skill development through a combination of in-class, small group and one-on-one support sessions. This is to confidently engage learners with the mainstream curriculum.

Inclusion is a learner-centered philosophy, founded in the belief that every learner has something unique to offer, a personal journey of discovery of the world of knowledge and of self, and a special contribution to make.

Ms Rola

AIM Coordinator - Lower Primary

My name is Ms Rola, and I am the AIM lower primary coordinator mainly working with years 2 and 3.  I am from Lebanon and I majored in English Literature with a Teaching Diploma. I have been working in EMS Doha for 10 years and this year marks as my 4th year in the AIM department. Over the years, I have build extensive knowledge and a sincere passion for assisting students who encounter challenges related to the foundations of learning.

I have been building my teaching experience for the last 15 years with the main focus on nurturing young learners in the lower primary stages. On a personal and professional level, I am a firm believer in the transformative potential of inclusiveness and diversity which positively empower learners with a handful of effective strategies through out their learning journey.

I am looking forward for another fruitful year especially with the  collaborative partnership between students, parents, and teachers to achieve the objectives and aspirations we have set for each young learner.

Rest assured, the AIM team is fully committed to assisting you in every possible way!

Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
