The ELSA Negotiation Competition (ENC) is a Flagship Project of ELSA that is an interactive competition simulating a negotiation process between two teams, each composed of two students.
Participants assume the role of legal representatives of two hypothetical parties who, despite having opposing interests, seek to reach common ground regarding a contract or the settlement of a dispute.
The objective extends beyond merely concluding a contract or resolving the dispute, as the teams must also seek to protect and advance their client’s interests to the greatest extent possible. To achieve this, each team receives additional confidential information alongside the generally available case materials, outlining the specific objectives and interests that should be pursued during the negotiation.
ELSA International can provide you with all the materials - from the logo, unified MKT kit (includes pictures for posts and covers, as well as certificates and many other useful materials) to the "logistics" - scoresheets, cases and the coaching, which is provided by Assistants for Academic Competitions of the ELSA International Team. All those and many other materials can be found in the ENC Package on the Officers' Portal.
For more detailed information, please consult the ENC section in the Academic Competitions Handbook.
