Founded in 1981, WESLI has been teaching English for over 40 years in downtown Madison, Wisconsin. Located in the heart of the Midwest, Madison is the ideal local for students and professionals, offering all the opportunities and convenience of larger American cities, as well as the opportunities to connect and engage with the local community more commonly found in smaller cities; Madison offers a safe and friendly environment that makes people from around the world call the city their second home. WESLI has a long history of a family-like atmosphere, as teachers and staff care about students personally while they assist them academically. Most staff members have lived abroad, speak one or more foreign languages, have years of experience teaching English, and have been at WESLI for more than 25 years.
Throughout it’s history, WESLI has earned an excellent reputation with universities, educational agencies, companies, and students from all over the world. With around 120 students at any given time, WESLI is committed to preparing students to be collaborative leaders in their chosen academic and professional environments. WESLI offers a variety of intensive English programs to help students achieve their personal, professional, and academic goals, including General English, English Plus, University Pathways, Test Preparation, Business English, Tutoring, and a Teacher Training Program. Due to the it’s excellent reputation and standard of teaching, WESLI has partnerships with over 30 Universities in the US. WESLI offers conditional admission to all its partner universities as well as a TOEFL Waiver Program for students that complete their language study at WESLI.

Students can apply year round and start dates are offered every month, allowing students to begin their academic journey as soon as possible. Programs are customized to ensure each student reaches their individual academic and professional goal. The cost of a program is based on the number of hours studied each week and the length of the program. WESLI will provide quotes for any student interested in seeing what a program would cost, based on their individual goal.
WESLI does not offer standard scholarships, but it does work with students to offer tuition discounts. This is based on a needs/country basis and students should contact us directly to see what tuition discounts are currently on offer.
