The University of Oregon is a public research university surrounded by the rivers and mountain ranges of western Oregon. We think deeply and dream immensely. We get involved in more than 300 campus organizations to meet friends and share common goals. This home is where we grow into our futures.
Located in Eugene, Oregon, UO is one of the top research universities in the nation (ranked #42 in the US of public universities). Research helps make us who we are. We value the curiosity that drives learners to seek solutions to problems of all sizes and complexities. Eighty percent of undergraduate students participate in some form of research.
Who are we? We are a community of more than 22,000 students and 3,200 international students from 103 countries studying in more than 300 undergraduate, graduate, and professional certificate programs. We are Ducks who love to move – on the field, on the court, in the water and on the slopes. We get out and explore art, food, culture and stay connected to the earth and each other in this cosmopolitan city in the Pacific Northwest.
We want to get to know our students and what drives them forward. The median class size is 20 students and the student to teacher ratio of 17 to 1. Equity and inclusion is a continuous commitment to listen and learn from the people around us. We respect, support and celebrate what makes us different and commonalities that keep us together. We want to know you and how you see the world
Tuition and fees are $42,000 for three quarters. With UO's generous tuition packages, these costs are quickly reduced for excellent students.
Eugene is the perfect blend of city and college town. Students become part of the community in this friendly and welcoming environment.
