Sonoma State University is a campus of the California State University system. SSU is small, public university located in northern California, one hour north of San Francisco in beautiful, safe wine country of Sonoma county. The Sonoma State American Language Institute (SSALI) has been helping international students from around the globe improve their English and study on-campus at a top California State University. The SSALI intensive English program offers conditional admission through the University Preparation Program (UPP) and host students from around the world in the Academic Culture and English (ACE) program.
