Building towers
Let's build some number towers!

You will need:
blocks or Lego
6 sided dice (or a 1-6 spinner or number cards)
pencils
your workbook.
Hint! The instructions are also below if you need them.
Building towers
Duration: 7:14
Instructions:
Choose 4 numbers to build as your towers (e.g. 5, 7, 11 and 3).
Take turns to roll a dice and use the number of bricks to build up your towers.
Hint! Towers can be built up in any way you choose.
Build up your towers until one player gets the exact roll to complete the last tower.
Talk about how many you have, how many more you need and what strategies you used.
Reflection:
If you were to play the game again tomorrow, what is one thing you would do differently? Why?
Draw a picture in your workbook that shows the towers you built in order from shortest to tallest.
For those who like a challenge!
Build the towers and play in reverse, taking away blocks each time until there are no blocks left.
Change the number of towers you build.
Change the number of blocks needed for each tower.

Your task:
Design a poster for your classmates to tell them how they can stay safe when using technology.
You could:
include pictures and words on your poster
draw, paint, or cut pictures out of from magazines
design your poster using a form of technology
