Estimating Australian areas

Step 1
Prepare a table similar to the example table in your workbook.
Complete an estimate for each state and territory. Record your answer in the first blank column of your table.

Look at the map of Australia and review your previous estimates.

Cut out the state of Victoria and use this to tesselate and refine your estimates.
