Blob fish
Blob fish
Blobfish are deep sea creatures which look hideous and taste really delicious, apparently it tastes better than butter poached lobster. There are approximately 420 blobfish left in the world.
The blob fish looks very disgusting with very little muscle. The blob fish has pink skin with a slimy look with a large nose. They weigh up to 9.5 kg. They have small dark eyes with 5 bones.
The blob fish waits at the bottom of the ocean to catch its prey. It eats things like sea urchins, shellfish, mollusk, crabs, lobster, bacteria and even sea pens.
Blob fish live in the deep sea. In some countrys, they live in Australia, Tasmania, and New Zealand. A fun fact is that they are a family of psychrolatidoe .
The blob fish can live for a very long time as it looks like it can only live for 20 years.
Blob fishs can live up to 130 years. The blob fish lay up to thousands of eggs at once.
Once the egg hatches it turns into small invertebrates which turns in to big invertebrates and then they turn into a blob fish.
If theres only 420 blobfish left in the world which is true, then they should be endangered but the good part is that they lay thousands of eggs at once. Will they be extinct or will they grow?
