Hello All IB Hvitfeldtare!
In October, you can apply to be a Student Ambassador of the IB Diploma Program at Hvitfeldtska. We are looking for 3 students from PreDP and 3 from DP 1 to join us.
In this role, you will be a key part of the Admissions and Alumni processes. This is an important role that promotes the IB and Hvitfeldtska’s mission to create a better and more peaceful world through education. Your participation will help keep us united in a common mission, strengthen the program, and contribution to a lifelong relationship towards that end.
We are looking for students to help potential candidates understand the program and feel welcome to apply. You who have strong communication and interpersonal skills can inspire and motivate them to make the right educational choice. Additionally, you will work to keep the bonds of IBDP Hvitfeldtska alive by maintaining a forum for students to keep in touch. Through your organizational skills you will promote our network where we can both celebrate one another’s achievements, and also help one another further in life, educationally and professionally, through our mutual connection.
This will be a permanent position during the time you enrolled here at Hvitfeldtska and below is a listing of the expected responsibilities and tasks. There is room for your own creativity and ideas to flourish within the role. We would not expect you to do more than one hour per week on average.
We hope you will join the Principal, Coordinator, and IB teaching team in helping us to grow and develop our IB program with new students. There isn’t any better way to raise the profile of IBDP and show off our program than sharing with others our excellent and awesome students!
Responsibilities and tasks (in order of the school year timeline)
These tasks are connected to mostly to service. I specify connections to creativity and activity where relevant. Additionally, because it is happening for at least a month (but much longer really), it can also count as the one necessary CAS project that you must do in collaboration with others. It’s not as though this position in and of itself can account for your entire CAS experience here, but it certainly can account for a good deal of it.
