Putting your special programs in Alma is essnential, to make sure the correct info carries over to Enrich! All of the fields listed below can be updated by either using an import to update, using spreadsheet data editor, or manually updating the fields on a student's "additional fields" in their bio.
IEP - Check the checkbox (if importing, set to TRUE or Yes)
Primary Disability - Choose the disability the student has
Date of Entry into SPED - Within this school year
Date of Exit From SPED (IF Applicable)
Please note: We've already marked all of your ELL/ML students as of October 1 in Alma. But, for any student's who've enrolled after that date, you may want to fill these out if they are qualified as ELL/ESL
ELL/ESL - Check the Checkbox (if importing, set to TRUE or Yes)
Language Background - Different from languages. Refers to the primary language background of the student
Language Proficiency - Choose the appropriate langauge proficiency for the child based on their ELL history.
Language Instruction Program - Necessary if the child is NEP, LEP, or FEP Monitor 1/2. Not needed if child is FELL, PHLOTE, or FEP Exit 1/2
GTE - Check the Checkbox (if importing, set to TRUE or Yes)
Gifted areas - Select all of the gifted areas that the student is gifted in.
504 - Check the box (If importing, set to TRUE or Yes)
Read plan - Yes/No/NA (NA only if student did not qualify for READ or is above 3rd grade)
READ Status - Based on READ scores
READ Test - Table field! If importing, you'll need to do a separate import. Can be filled out using spreadsheet data editor.
