This course is designed for talented students seeking to create productions for the Meadowdale Players. This advanced group of students will choose, produce, and perform two major theatrical works onstage for the general public. Each production will occur at the end of each semester. Students in this class will study and practice all elements of theatrical productions which will include, but is not limited to: acting, directing, set design, costume design, lighting design, stage management, and publicity. All students will be required to be involved in many facets of theatre production. Students will work closely with their peers throughout the semester to create a supportive and thriving creative environment.
Duration: Full Year
Pre-requisites: This is a 7th period class. In addition to meeting after school, students will be required to do additional work outside of class time.
