This course offers a continued expansion of one's exploration in the world of art. Advanced drawing and painting techniques will be taught using a variety of materials including charcoal, pencil, pen and ink, scratch board, pastels, print making, watercolors, and acrylics. Creative growth and a high level of skill are emphasized with all students required to be self-motivated and capable of working independently. Weekly sketchbook drawings outside of class are required. Students will develop personal art style through exploration of art history, sketchbook, and concept based work.
