This class is part of a CTE Graduation Pathway: Automotive Technology
Gain an understanding of today’s automobile including principles of operation, automotive terminology, and consumer information on repairs and purchasing. Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs. Classroom work will be supplemented with lab sessions covering tool usage and miscellaneous hands-on projects.
Duration: Semester (Period 1&2 or Period 5&6 at Meadowdale High School)
Pre-requisites: None
Credits: 0.5 (college credit available)
Grade Level: 9 - 12
