Framing: Single headshot of each guest and a wide group shot to cut between as the program progresses
“Ring of Fire” even lighting for each participant
Lighting
Keynotes are lit with an evenly distributed light cast on all participants. The background is set darker than the subjects to give the scene some depth
Audio
Keynotes are captured for live distribution as well as podcast offerings. To achieve the highest quality results, studios are set with desktop condenser mics as well as headphone monitors to enable the host and guests to speak to each other while ingesting high fidelity audio.
Camera and on screen content
Keynotes programs use a mixture of headshots and wideshots, switched live to follow the context of the discussion. If there are media components such as video playback, slides or participation polling, those appear either full screen or as a side by side shot to allow the speaker to present the material in an engaging way.
