Standard Multifeed:
Capturing multiple synced video feeds that can be edited together in post production into 1 video.
Live Edit Multifeed:
Capturing multiple synced video feeds that are edited together in real time, resulting in a final video output instantaneously.
Live Edit Multifeed will require the following pre-production items to be completed TWO WEEKS prior to filming in studio. This prep will help ensure a productive shoot.
Approved Art Slides [ART SLIDES TEMPLATE]
Art Slides refer to the slide-show deck that the ID team creates using a template to display images, tables, lists and other content that would normally be inserted by animation/ video editing. All visual material for the course videos must be contained within this deck.
Art Slides must be reviewed by Creative for formatting and QA for spelling and grammar. Leaving time before the production for this review to take place is the responsibility of the Instructional Designer.
To submit Art Slides for review, tag Yumi Suh in the Wrike task “Art Slide Content Review”. Include a link to the slides and any notes about the content.
After the slides have been submitted to Creative, then the shoot can be scheduled by reaching out to Rachael Lambertson.
Teleprompter Script with VP Cues [TALKING POINTS TEMPLATE] [SCRIPT TEMPLATE]
Teleprompter Script/ Talking Points refers to the text or slide show that contains the faculty’s notes for reading/ referencing during the shoot. In a Live Edit Multifeed production, this deck also contains the cues for the Video Producer that indicate when to cut between sources during filming. The cues should be close to final BEFORE the studio shoot, but it's okay to make adjustments to the timing and placement of these during the shoot. See below for a breakdown of cues.
Definitions:
Pre-production: refers to the steps taken in preparation of a video shoot to align expectations and clearly document the requirements of the production.
Post-production: refers to the editing process after a video shoot to prepare the content for final delivery.
