Spacing

Adequate spacing improves readability and prevents the design from feeling cluttered. Pay attention to line height (leading), letter spacing (tracking), and margins between text blocks. Use generous spacing to distinguish sections and create visual breathing room, making it easier for users to scan and comprehend information.

Consistency

Use consistent font styles, sizes, and weights across similar elements, such as headings, body text, and buttons. Establish and adhere to a clear typographic hierarchy, and apply it uniformly throughout the interface to guide users intuitively.

Alignment

Proper alignment creates a sense of order and structure in the design. Use consistent text alignment—left, center, or right—based on the content and context. Left alignment is the most readable for body text, while center alignment works well for short headings or callouts. Align text with other design elements.
