When creating infographics, consider it a visual story rather than a list of facts. As with any story, too many details distract from the content. Carefully choose and display data/elements with minimal colors, graphical elements, and information so that the most important learning points are at the forefront.

A simple icon is used to express a basic Keypoint.
Icons are a simplified visual representation of an idea or concept and their meaning should be easily understood.
Keep it simple. If the concept is too complex to break down into an iIcon or multiple icons in an animated layout, then the concept should be approached with another visual solution.
To expand on the keypoint in greater detail, use a more complex graphic to support the learning point. The satellite icons used within a larger graphic should always be simplified in both color and amount of detail.
Infographics incorporate various stylistic elements to show the information/ data in both a compelling and informative way.
Text size can “break the rules” in infographics. It can be made bigger or smaller to provide contrast and guide the eye through the illustration. The minimum size font in any artboard should be 40pt.
