Hello! My name is Gary Griffin, and I am a proud 12th grader at e3 Civic High here in downtown San Diego. Growing up in this city has shaped who I am—I’ve learned how important it is to stay connected to my community while also preparing for life after high school.
Some of my biggest interests are in technology, art, and community leadership. I enjoy designing projects that combine creativity with problem-solving, and I’ve especially loved working on group projects where I get to collaborate with my peers and learn from different perspectives. Outside of school, I like spending time with family, exploring new spots around San Diego, and staying active.
My goals for myself are to graduate ready for college and a career. After e3, I plan to attend San Diego City College to study business and entrepreneurship, with the goal of transferring to San Diego State University. In the future, I hope to pursue a career where I can make a difference in my community, whether that’s through business, design, or mentoring others. My ultimate goal is to be someone who inspires others to work hard, dream big, and give back.
