In 11th grade, I demonstrated leadership by joining the School Ambassadors program. As an ambassador, I helped welcome new students and families, gave tours of our campus, and represented e3 Civic High at community events. At first, I was nervous about speaking in front of groups, but I took initiative by practicing my presentations and learning how to answer questions confidently.
This role taught me that being a civic leader is about representing your community with pride, helping others feel included, and modeling responsibility. By stepping into this position, I not only built my own confidence but also supported our school’s mission of creating a welcoming and inclusive environment.
