1. Greatest Success:
My greatest success during my transition to high school was learning how to stay organized and keep up with assignments. At first, it felt overwhelming having multiple classes with bigger expectations, but using my planner and checking my grades during Advisory helped me stay on track.
2. Greatest Challenge:
The biggest challenge for me was adjusting to the longer class periods. It took time to build stamina and learn how to focus for 90 minutes. I overcame this by breaking tasks into smaller parts and staying engaged by asking questions and participating more in class discussions.
3. Advice for an Incoming Freshman:
My advice for an incoming freshman is: don’t be afraid to ask for help. Teachers and classmates want to see you succeed, but you have to take the first step to reach out. Also, get involved early—whether it’s Advisory, a club, or a project—because that’s how you make connections and feel part of the e3 community.
