In my senior year, I demonstrated civic leadership by helping with a voter registration drive at our school. I worked with staff and community partners to share information with eligible seniors about how to register to vote and why their voice matters. I also helped design flyers and encouraged classmates to take the process seriously.
This experience taught me that civic engagement is not just about voting myself—it’s about empowering others to participate in democracy. Even though I am not yet old enough to vote, I realized I can still play a role in supporting the democratic process by raising awareness and helping my peers understand the importance of their voices.
