1. One way I have advocated for myself this year:
I advocated for myself by asking my Math 2 teacher for extra help when I was struggling with quadratic equations. Instead of staying quiet, I went to office hours and practiced with classmates. Speaking up made me more confident and helped me improve my grade.
2. People I can get support from:
I know I can get support from my teachers, Advisory LF, and school counselors. I’ve also learned that classmates can be a resource—working together on homework or study groups helps me understand material better.
3. Resources that help me succeed in high school:
Some resources that help me are my planner, Google Classroom, and weekly grade checks in Advisory. Using these keeps me organized and reminds me of upcoming deadlines. Having these tools helps me stay on top of my responsibilities and keeps me accountable.
