In AP World History, I became curious when we studied the Silk Road and global trade networks. Learning how goods, ideas, and cultures moved across continents made me want to dig deeper into how our world is interconnected. I even researched how modern trade compares to the historical systems we studied. This helped me see history as more than just dates—it’s about connections that still shape the world today.
In Math 2, I had to apply critical thinking when working on quadratic equations. At first, factoring was frustrating because I couldn’t always see the patterns. Instead of giving up, I slowed down, broke each problem into steps, and asked classmates how they approached it. By practicing different strategies, I learned how to solve problems in more than one way. This experience showed me that math builds resilience and problem-solving skills I can use in any subject.
