Welcome to our weekly bulletin,
Welcome to the new academic year! We hope that all of our pupils, parents and carers have enjoyed a restful summer break, and we are delighted to welcome everyone back for another exciting year of learning and achievement. A particularly warm welcome goes to the families joining our school community for the first time, as well as to the new members of staff who have joined our team—we are thrilled to have you with us.
As we begin the term, we kindly ask parents and carers to ensure that pupils arrive punctually each day in full school uniform, with the correct equipment and a positive attitude towards learning. Please also keep an eye on our regular communications and the school website for important updates, key dates and upcoming events. We look forward to working in partnership with you throughout the year to ensure every child is confident, ambitious and respectful.

GCSE Results This Summer: Proud of Our Cohort
We are delighted to celebrate the achievements of our pupils in this summer’s GCSE examinations. This year’s cohort has shown remarkable resilience, determination and commitment throughout their studies, and we are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished.
Across a wide range of subjects, pupils have achieved strong results that reflect both their hard work and the dedication of our staff. Many students have secured grades that will enable them to progress confidently to their chosen next steps, whether that be further education, apprenticeships or training opportunities.
Beyond the grades themselves, we are especially proud of the positive attitudes, perseverance and support for one another that this group has demonstrated. Their success is a testament not only to their academic ability but also to their character and the strong sense of community within our school.
We would like to thank our staff and families for their continued encouragement and support, which has played a vital role in helping our pupils reach their potential. We wish all of our leavers every success in the future and look forward to hearing about their continued achievements.
New Build Update: Exciting Progress Over the Summer
While our school community has been enjoying a well earned summer break, there has been fantastic progress on our new school building. The site has been a hive of activity throughout the summer, with significant developments taking place over the past few weeks.
The building is now really beginning to take shape, with many of the internal spaces clearly recognisable as classrooms, specialist teaching areas and communal facilities. Externally, roofing, windows and brickwork have continued to progress, making the school look more complete each week. Inside, contractors have been installing essential services, completing internal walls and beginning the finishing touches that will transform the building into a vibrant learning environment.
We are delighted to report that the project remains on schedule and we are continuing to work closely with the construction team as we prepare for our planned move into the new building this October. Over the coming weeks, staff will begin planning the transition to ensure it is as smooth as possible for pupils and families.
We know that our pupils, families and staff are excited about this next stage in the school’s journey and we look forward to sharing more updates, along with photographs, as we move closer to this significant milestone. Thank you for your continued patience, enthusiasm and support as we prepare to open the doors to our new school.

Year 11 Stars Shine
At the House of Lords
Our Year 11 students; Wan and Lily recently earned a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit the prestigious House of Lords in London as part of their work with the Generating Genius programme.
Demonstrating incredible commitment, both students set off on an early morning journey to the capital to take part in the event. Their hard work paid off as they received official recognition for competing in the Business Innovation Challenge, showcasing the bright, creative thinking that makes our school community so proud.
To top off an already extraordinary experience, Wan and Lily were treated to traditional Afternoon Tea inside the House of Lords—a wonderful moment to reflect on their achievements in an iconic setting.
A huge congratulations to both Wan and Lily for representing our school with such confidence, resilience, and ambition. This is just the beginning, as both students will continue their exciting journey with Generating Genius into Post-16!
