Introduction
During the great depression 1992-1942, a sequence of projects and programs formed the New Deal. The reasoning behind it was when Franklin Roosevelt was president he wanted to aim to bring back success and wealth to Americans. Over the next couple of years, Roosevelt wanted to find people jobs again and better the economy. A few programs put in place were like CCC, WPA, TVA, and SEC. Each program helped with a different aspect. The New Deal helped many struggling families with their living situation, improving the mental health of many families.
During 1929 the stock market crashed. Smoot-Hawley Tariff caused the crash; government policies; bank failures and panics; and the collapse of the money supply. Many individuals had been going to the bank to withdraw their money banks couldn't keep up as not enough money had been printed in the U.S. This led to inflation and people began struggling. Stocks caused an increase in money with a draw. All U.S. currency had been present, not in physical money but in gold. They had to act and begin printing money quickly. All these acts caused the great depression to begin meaning many were affected by the loss of money. During this time Franklin D Roosevelt had been the president on March 4 1933 he promised the people change from their current situation. He saw this as an emergency and began trying to take quick action. Franklin formed a new act called the New Deal.
Change and continuity
The New Deal's progress was majorly changing all aspects of the great depression. The beginning was the first 100 days within those the main goal was to get all the unemployed back into work. The WPA and CCC were established at this time the programs helped with the emergency government money while getting over 8.5 million people jobs. With all the employment America gained much progress from buildings to streets. The first 100 days had the most change following it was the second new deal. In 1935 the New Deal emphasis shifted to measures designed to assist labor and other urban groups. This led to it falling into 3 groups: relief, recovery, and reform. The second part was more focused on rebuilding the economy. Then came the Wagner Act which increased industrial relations and strengthened the organizing power of labor unions. Roosevelt's action changed many different aspects of America.

The New Deal's results impacted America greatly. It increased the economy by 10%. Even after WW2, its results stayed the same. Even though many still have depression it introduced new economics to the United States. Many ended with new jobs, insurance, and other benefits. The news provides Americans with a point of view on the government proving it can help them in many situations. The health of the nation has improved. The new deal holds its legacy to this day.

It also introduced social welfare programs. while lifting the country out of depression in a perspective on the government as they provided new forms of helping people.
