I wrote an essay giving advice to Will, the protagonist of Long War Down.

“You coming, 

I walked into the small box

All smoky and clouded

As I saw Will I became dumbfounded.

I stood there trying to figure out where I messed up.

Why my only brother was risking his life

Why was he the only one instead of me

No one prepares for this day 

Killing instead of visiting a grave

But I knew he was ready

So I asked, 

You coming?”
