Hovercraft Project
Drilling the Holes
Before drilling the holes in the wood we had a bit of confusion and debate about how and where to drill them, we were careful to do nothing permanent until we were sure what to do. While drilling we had an issue with our drill, but the other group finished using theirs and gave it to us.
Testing out the Hovercraft
There was an incident with the tape.
Despite what the instructions said was necessary, the ring of tape around the edge prevented the hoverboard from working properly.
Cutting out the Plastic
We divided the work to make more progress, with some people cutting the plastic sheeting while others drilled holes and wrapped the edges in duct tape.

Elements of Design
Shape: Circle for base
Point: Holes in place for air pressure
Symmetry: Symmetrical holes also for air pressure
Pattern: Pattern of ducktape when connecting plastic and plywood
Balance: Centering mass when riding
Circuit Project
Series and Parallel Circuit
By following the instructions provided, my group and I correctly made a series and parallel circuit using few materials. We used aluminum foil as the source for wire, led lights for the light bulbs, the braid as a swtich, and the small battery as the battery.
Lantern Project
SVG Lantern
My partner, Avery Moreland, and I, created a lantern using cardboard and glue. We constructed the lantern together using the instructions provided. Then, we created an image on the sides using the glofordge tool. Different groups were assigned different designs of scientists and their creations to print out. This is a bit of ours!
