For our geometry final we created stained glass art using geometric shapes. My partner and I, Brooklynn Caruth, worked hard measuring, shaping, and painting our designs for our project throughout the past weeks. The inspiration for our design was to go the abstract route. We wanted to create something that wasn't a specific image or drawing, yet something that patterned the different shapes together. Our three elements of art are line, shape, and value. Our principles of design we incorporated were pattern, repetition, and proportion. To ensure that our shape abided by its shape rules, we measured its properties to find the proofs. This connects to how we learned about proofs previously to find angle measurements and shapes. By finding proofs, this helps proves shapes and its rules.
