In this project, my peers and I watched videos on topics about climate change regarding sea levels rising and created equations to graph them. This project enlightened me on the effects that human behavior has on my environment. In the 1st portion of the project, "Engage", I listened to videos discussing different common things people do that have a direct effect on sea level rise, and measures communities are taking to reduce this rise. Additionally, I collaborated with my peers to share what we took away from the video, our thoughts, and questions we might've had. For the 2nd portion, "Explore", I modeled the sea level data in coastal Georgia, using graphs and creating equations. I compared the predicted hourly sea level rate, to the verified hourly sea level rate to determine the accuracy of the 2. To the right, I've attached the video recording of me explaining my presentation, and below are the documents for this project.
In this project, a few peers and myself collaborated to solve these functions based on a word problem. Below is the presentation we created to explain our answers, and our thinking to our solutions.
