Music education has always been my greatest passion. As a musician and educator, I am dedicated to fostering a love of music in students of all ages and skill levels. My journey began when I became the Drum Major of my high school marching band, sparking my deep interest in music education. This early experience led me to pursue a Bachelor of Music degree from North Carolina Central University, and I am now working towards a Master of Music Education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, which I expect to complete in 2025.

Beyond my career, I have two beautiful child and a loving fiancé. Balancing my roles as an educator, musician, and family member fuels my passion to make a difference through music. I have. had rewarding experiences directing band programs and teaching, where I introduced students to music concepts and techniques. I remain active in the music community, performing with ensembles and continuing to develop my skills. 

Music education is not just a career for me - it is a true passion that drives me to inspire the next generation of musicians.
